Our Founder, Kennette Pen

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Meet Kennette Pen.

 

Kennette earned her degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), building a strong scientific foundation that has shaped her rigorous, analytical approach to problem-solving. She brings extensive experience in clinical research, operational strategy, and process optimization, complemented by her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).

Currently, Kennette is completing a Venture Capital and Private Equity program through Columbia University, further expanding her expertise in investment strategy, governance, and building scalable impact-driven ventures.

​

Her transition into the nonprofit sector is a passion-driven mission, rooted in a deep commitment to empowering survivors and advancing systemic change through mentorship, policy advocacy, and strategic leadership, all grounded in the belief that healing should also make space for beauty, creativity, and joy.
