💌 Hi Ladies, I’m Kennette Pen, founder of Arella!
My heart for supporting survivors is what led me to create Arella, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers survivors of sexual assault through mentorship, healing, and community.
Our headquarters are in San Diego, but I’m back in my hometown, Kansas City, and I’d love to build that same empowering sisterhood right here.
So I’m excited to invite you to Arella’s very first Angels Book Club & Workshop, a safe, uplifting space for survivors to come together through books, creativity, and connection. Each month we’ll explore an empowering book, reflect together, and enjoy a fun healing activity like aerial yoga, art therapy, or crafts because healing doesn’t happen in isolation, and we weren’t meant to do this alone.
🎨 October’s Theme: Art Therapy. Our first meetup is tentatively set for Thursday, October 9 and will include painting, light refreshments, and space to connect.…
